We use ingredients derived naturally - such as citronella oil, clove oil, lemongrass oil, and soybean oil. While a lot of companies offer a natural option, it's all we do. We leave behind a pleasant, essential oil smell, not the smell of synthetic pesticides.

How early should we start for summer?
Most North Shore families get going in April so they’re ready well before Memorial Day. If you’re starting mid-season, we can tighten early visits to catch up. Our typical season includes 8 visits spaced approximately three weeks apart.
Do natural treatments actually work?
Yes! When they’re applied on the right schedule for our climate, natural mosquito and tick sprays can make a big difference in how your yard feels—without you worrying about synthetic chemicals. One of the main differences between natural and synthetic is how quickly they degrade in the sun and environment. To help combat that we add an all-natural spray adjuvant which helps us get the best results while staying all-natural.
Am I stuck in a long contract?
We sell full-season programs because they work the best. One-off treatments and sprays do reduce populations initially, but do not produce the season long outdoor comfort we are striving to provide for our customers. Our service can be cancelled at any time subject to the terms of our service agreement, so there's little risk to giving us a try!
How often should a yard be treated for mosquitoes?
Botanical mosquito treatments are normally applied on a recurring schedule because weather, irrigation, plant growth and mosquito pressure can affect how long a treatment remains active. Evergreen will recommend a schedule based on the program and property.
What happens if mosquitoes return between visits?
Customers enrolled in a qualifying recurring program are covered by Evergreen’s re-spray guarantee. If mosquito activity becomes a problem within 14 days of treatment, contact us so we can re-spray at no additional charge!
Do mosquito treatments also control ticks?
Mosquito and tick treatments overlap in some areas, but the pests do not always occupy the same habitat. Evergreen offers treatment options that specifically address tick-prone areas such as wooded borders, leaf litter, ground cover and transitional zones.

What is Home Shield and what pests does it help control?
Home Shield is our exterior perimeter pest control service designed to help keep common crawling insects away from your home. We treat the foundation, entry points, and other key exterior areas to reduce ants, spiders, earwigs, centipedes, stink bugs, and other nuisance pests before they make their way inside. Home Shield is intended as a preventative outdoor service and does not include interior treatments.
